1. INTRODUCTION
BLX — Bonnie Legal Exchange operated by Judicate Solutions is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect use and protect your information in accordance with Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843).
2. DATA WE COLLECT
We collect the following personal data: Email address when you create an account; Name when you provide it in questionnaire forms; National ID numbers and other personal details entered in document questionnaires; Payment reference numbers processed through Paystack; Device and usage data for analytics purposes.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use your data to: Create and manage your BLX account; Generate legal documents based on your questionnaire answers; Process payments through Paystack; Send you document confirmation emails; Improve BLX through analytics; Comply with legal obligations.
4. DATA STORAGE
Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers. Document data including questionnaire answers is stored in your private account and is not accessible to other users.
5. DATA SHARING
We do not sell your personal data to any third party. We share data only with Paystack for payment processing, Google Firebase for data storage and authentication, and Google Analytics for usage analytics. We require all third parties to respect the security of your data.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Document data is retained indefinitely to allow you to re-download your purchased documents at any time. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello.blxgh@gmail.com
7. YOUR RIGHTS
Under Ghana's Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) you have the right to: Access the personal data we hold about you; Request correction of inaccurate data; Request deletion of your data; Object to the processing of your data; Lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.
8. COOKIES
BLX uses essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
9. SECURITY
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. All data is transmitted over secure HTTPS connections.
10. CHILDREN
BLX is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the app.
